1 Sleep to go.......for some

Well the first contingent should be arriving in London by tomorrow. Hear there's a bit of rain and 20C, but the weather will be sunnier by Wednesday.
The last group will be leaving tomorrow sometime and should arrive in London by Tuesday morning. The excitement and reality is sinking in now. And we can all kick back and relax.........

2 Sleeps to go............

The first contingent of the main group is leaving tomorrow. The rest will be leaving on Monday for the long flight to warm sunny weather, we hope. (Has to be better than winter in Melbourne.)
It's been a long time planning and its all finally coming together thanks to some dedicated members. Jim Parker has been working like a bat out of hell to pull this together for the past two years and I bet he's finally glad to kick back with a bottle of red and have fun fun fun...... At least Jim has a head start on us, he'll be leaving tomorrow. Cheers Jim.
Included is some pics of a few special Injuns that will be on the tour. Phil Pilgrims' one off prototype red Indian Vincent. Phil White's Californian Police bike (Chips) which is renowned for making a grand exit from many runs with his siren. Mick Chegg's 44 Indian Chief (Snail). Micks' bike had a bit of a facelift with some pinstripes, saddle bags and a new comfy pillion seat for his partner Sue. Oh and not to mention a good clean and polish.

3 Sleeps to go.........

The weather in London held out today at 27C but the forecast for Mon, Tues is about 20C. Well, we can't complain about that either, it beats 13C. (I might have to rearrange my bag, only one hair dryer instead of two)
Most of us were lucky to finish up our work today and start winding down with a few cool ones.

4 Sleeps to go..........

Great news from London today. Well for the aussies anyway. It seems the weather is preparing for us. Temperatures reached 30C today!!!! Hopefully it will stay that way til we get there.
The Indians will be sitting there waiting for us, just warming up..... about to come out of hibernation.
And while on the subject of the weather etc., here is something to ponder...........
When told the reason for daylight saving time, an old Indian said........"Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of the blanket and have a longer blanket!!!!!

Countdown.........has begun........5 sleeps to go...

Well everyone, the countdown has begun and most of the groundwork is completed.
The container has arrived in London and all is well as you can see from the pics.
The first two people are on their way and should be landing safely by the time you read this. You could say they are the first "War Party".
The rest of the Injuns start to follow during the week, 25 & 26 Tuesday from Sydney.
The majority of us leave on 5 different flights on Sunday and Monday(5&6) next week, all coming together at our hotel in Slough on Monday and Tuesday. The first big do will be our welcome dinner on Tuesday evening.
